Mission & Outreach
Someone once wrote that an attractional church is one where a person says, I go to church, but a missional church is one where a person says, I am the church. RPC seeks to be a missional church, equipping people to be sent, to go wide with the world, to be the church, the people of God, wherever they live, work and play.
Our God has a mission and the church’s work is to find our place in that mission of God. We are called and gathered in our worship and in our discipleship, in our going deep with God, so that we can be scattered, so that we can be sent, so that we can go wide with the world.

RPC also partners with the Presbyterian Church in Canada through Presbyterian World Service and Development (PWS&D). Please click here presbyterian.ca/pwsd for more information on PWS&D.
Please check the events calendar for how you can help.
RPC sees the mission of the church in the activities that each member engages in where they live, work and play, as they embody what it means to be a disciple and follower of Jesus.
We also work together to help bring about the Kingdom of God Jesus spoke about in scripture, such as in caring for the poor, visiting the lonely and sick, working for justice for the oppressed and marginalized, caring for the vulnerable in our midst.
There are opportunities to serve in the community, in Food Banks, in shelters for those without homes, to cook and serve meals to the hungry and to hold others in prayer.
Since September of 2021, RPC have been serving free take-out meals to our vulnerable neighbours including the low income and the homeless. Take-out meals are from 5-6pm every Monday regardless if it's a holiday or not. For more information, click here.
Here's a list of Free Meals/Hampers that is available in Richmond as of September 2022.
