THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO JOHN The author of John states the purpose of his Gospel in John 20:30–31: “Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book.  But these are written so that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through believing you may have life in his name. The seven units of this study will focus on Encounters with Jesus.  It was crucial for John’s readers to encounter the living Jesus Christ; it remains crucial for the modern church.  Without that encounter we are but a mere organization.  Without that, we’re on our own. Leading with Care Orientation Training

A Leading with Care Orientation Session will take place immediately following the service on Sunday, October 6th from 11:30-12:30pm in Room 3.   Attending a Leading with Care session is required for all individuals who volunteer in Nursery, Church School, KIDZ Club, Youth Group or any other activity that involves children or vulnerable adults. RSVP to Heather before October 1st.   If you are unable to attend October 6th, please let Heather know dates you are available so that an alternate time can be scheduled.
