Join us for Storms, an inspiring musical by Mark Burrows, presented by our Youth Choir, with the Adult Choir joining in concert.

Through music, storytelling, and moments of humor and reflection, Storms explores the challenges we face in life—both seen and unseen—and reminds us that we are never alone. Experience themes of faith, courage, and compassion, and discover how prayer, community, and God’s love can guide us through even the most difficult times.

Looking for a chance to step away from the busyness of everyday life and spend time connecting with God, with others, and with His creation?

We warmly invite you to join us for our church’s Congregational Retreat at Camp Douglas on the beautiful Sunshine Coast between Gibsons and Sechelt.

It will be a weekend of fellowship, fun, learning, and rest. Our program will include shared meals, beach and forest activities, games, campfire, singing, intergenerational Bible studies, chapel, and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Friends and family members are very welcome to join us for this special weekend together!

This year’s theme is “Answer the Call.” God calls each of us to help build His kingdom and to share the love of Christ with others. Together we will explore how we can listen for God’s voice in our lives and faithfully respond to His call.

The program will feature Bach’s Violin Sonata in B Minor, Beethoven’s beloved “Spring” Sonata, Brahms’s Violin Sonata in G Major, and John Williams’s tango, “Por Una Cabeza,” from the film Scent of a Woman.

Join us! Admission is free—everyone is welcome!

Come celebrate the beginning of the Advent season with O Holy Night!—a joyful, intergenerational evening of music and fellowship. Enjoy performances by soloists, small ensembles, our Adult Choir, youth, and members of our congregation.

We will also have a Christmas sing-along, an Ugly Sweater contest, a candy bowl guessing game, and hot chocolate with marshmallows! Bring your family and friends for a heartwarming night of Christmas cheer and community celebration. Invite your friends and family!

Join us this Saturday from 6am–8pm for RPC’s historic Hymn-Sing Marathon, where we will sing through the entire hymnal from beginning to end! The CultivATE Food Truck for the ElovATE Society will be on site from 10am–4pm serving chili, burgers, hot dogs, mac & cheese, and fries, with vegetarian options available, plus extra treats from 5–8pm. Coffee, tea, and light refreshments will be served all day starting at 6am. From 1–5pm, enjoy an Art Show featuring works by John Beattie, Josephine Tam, Marianne Greaves, and Cat Aldred, with pieces available for purchase. (a percentage of the proceeds will go towards our organ project)

Guest musicians from Coquitlam, Vivaldi Chamber Choir, St. Andrew’s Wesley, and more will help lead the hymns throughout the day. Be sure to fill out a “Feedback Form” for a chance at special prizes! The full event will be livestreamed on YouTube (www.youtube.com/@richmondpresbyterianchurch3924/live) with hymn updates posted on Facebook (www.facebook.com/Richpres). What better way than to spend the day singing to the glory of God? Bring your friends and family for this incredible time of fellowship and celebration of God!

• Drop-in anytime to sing along or simply listen.
• Refreshments available (coffee and tea)
• A food truck will be available on premises (vegetarian options available) from 10am to 4pm.

• An Art Show will be on display from 1 to 5pm – you can view and even purchase works during the event. A portion of the proceeds will go towards our organ project.

RPC Seniors are invited to an afternoon of tea, sandwiches, and sweets. It will be a wonderful time of fellowship with friends and the church family.

Sunday, May 25 – Anniversary Reception
Following the morning service, we invite everyone to stay for a reception with refreshments and cake as we celebrate 65 years of RPC!

Begin the evening by viewing the artwork of local artists John Beatty and Arista Soh. A portion of all art sales will support the RPC Community Meal and the Richmond Food Bank!

🎶 RPC Choir Concert – 7:00pm
Come and enjoy My Favourite Hymns, a concert by the RPC Choir!

Guests will have additional opportunities to view and purchase artwork during intermission and after the concert. Refreshments and will be served during intermission as well. All are welcome!
