Join us on Friday April 18 at 10AM for our Good Friday Service. The RPC Choir will be presenting the moving Good Friday Cantata, “Tenebrae” meaning Darkness.
Heather Sorenson, the composer writes, “Although the exact year of the first Tenebrae is unknown, historians generally agree that followers of Christ have observed this service for over a millennium. In this service, we join the “Great Cloud of Witnesses” who honored Christ’s request for His followers to stay with him in His hour of suffering.
Even though we grieve in this Service of Shadows, you will also find a strong undercurrent of hope and anticipation in the new life we’ve been given. “
